COMPANY XMAS PARTIES

do those of that work have them? we do each year. They are always at 4 star hotels which is fine but Im a blue jeans and tshirt kinda guy. I hate those uppercrust types that seem to dominate these festivities. I just try to do 1 thing, not be the one everyone talks about after the party. It seems like there is always 1 or 2 guys/girls that get too drunk. Ours is this Saturday.

We always have one, but it's usually at a nice pub. Dress is the same as what you'd wear on a night on the town. Not sloppy, but not uber-dressy.

I want to go to mine really baked, and hopefully get fired.

I'm going to my friend's company xmas party. She works on one of the small cruise ships at the Toronto Harbourfront. 15 bucks gets you a buffet dinner, and 3 free drinks at the bar. they have live entertainment and shiet. should be fun. nice shirt and pants is all i need. boat parties own.

ours is at the Amway Grand in Grand Rapids http://www.amwaygrand.com/, its "Party Casual Attire" which means no jacket or tie. This is the first year we didnt have to wear a monkey suit. I have no idea what they spend. It has to be at least 10 grand. All the employees get a room for the night so there is no liablity as far as driving drunk goes. Now that I think of it each room has to be about $200 and we have over 50 employees attending so they must be spending closer to 20 grand. Id rather get a fat bonus check!!!

Nyck 11-28-2006 01:25 PM

no shit we spend 5k on ours for 30 some peeps. Im like dude just give me the portion of booze im not gonna drink in a check.

but oh well.

no monkey suit for us though, Ive talked about my company, super laid back

Bucknub 11-28-2006 01:50 PM

we have a one every year, we went the mandarine last year, (I made a thread about it) this year it's fucking $30 for some gay ass swiss chalet dinner, some DJ I dont give a shit about and a useless dance floor. I aint dancing with ppl from the store.

and it was that dumb twat I was trying to nail that set it all up. I gave her hell for all that useless shit.

needless to say, I am not going this year.

Pyro 11-28-2006 01:54 PM
