Savage 2: A Tortured Soul

This game is going to be fucking EPIC. The first one is hardcore. Savage is an RTSS (real-time strategy shooter). It plays out just like an RPG only real people play the units from a FPS perspective.

LOL It's nothing like an MMORPG. This game actually takes Counter-Strike skill in both the melee and ranged combat. The only elements of MMORPG that are in this game are killing animals to get gold for your team and the very basic leveling system. The only reason for the leveling up is to get better armor, etc. You don't have an account, and you start @ level 1 on every new game. It's just like any other RTS game with the only difference being instead of the CPU controlling the units, real people do.

Yea, Savage 1 was amazing.

I liked the trailer, altho some of the human animation could be smoother, I noticed the characters sometimes slide over the ground as they run. Large ogre thing looks nice, as do the environments, I hope this game turns out well

The only thing I'm worried about is the frame rate issues. Savage 1's code RUNS LIKE A PIECE OF SHIT. Now I know my lowly 6600 is nothing to dance about, but there's really no excuse for a game that was made in 2003 to get me as low as 25 fps at times. And it's not just me, that's pretty much a universal complaint. Obviously I'll have to upgrade for this game's graphics.
