Verizon Sucks at Math
Audio - http://media.putfile.com/Verizon-Bad-Math
http://verizonmath.blogspot.com/ .002 U.S. cents * 35 893 = 0.71786 U.S. dollars .002 U.S. dollars * 35 893 = 71.78600 U.S. dollars $71.78 is therefore more than $0.71 Guess a GED is all you need over at Verizon... |
and you are?
|
Ive had verizon for 3 years, they have always been good to me
|
and they aren't irritating, like Comcast, who happens to be my cable provider (while Verizon is my internet provider). At least with Comcast, every 10 seconds with them on TV has a gay ass commericial with stupid "Internet, Phone, Cable, all on One Bill, from One Company- Call Today" and then have advertisements for their shitty networks where they play shitty sports matchups.
Verizon > Comcast |
that guy is retarded

WOW. How difficult can this be. I cannot believe these people. You guys need to listen to this. it will make you feel much better as a human knowing that there are people this stupid on this planet.
I don't know how that guy didn't shoot himself. The guy isn't retarded. he's right. He's getting jipped $71 from what they quoted him. After going through that i'd probably just pay the $72 and forget about it. What would have made it way easier would be if he told them that .002 cents multiplied by whatever number, the output is still in cents. you can't magically change it into dollars like they were doing. .002 cents x 35,000 kb = 70 cents not dollars. if you start with cents, your answer is in cents. |

Multi million dollar brains aren't running a company though, human beings are. |
The actual rate DID end up being .002 dollars, so $71 was the correct amount. The representatives just kept saying "cents" because they saw the decimal value and read that as being cents. The manager still took the amount off of his account though.
|
they quoted him cents. yes the correct amount is .002 dollars.
but that wasn't the issue at all. the service people recognized they said they would charge him .002 cents but couldn't figure out that that equaled 71 cents not 71 dollars. |

If you're quoted .002 cents / kb wouldn't you want to be charged .002 cents / kb? I know I wouldn't give a shit if it's a technical term, that's 70 bucks he just saved for them being retards. |

I know that, my point is the reps are so stupid they don't know how to read a rate. |
