oOo: oOo: oOo: oOo:

Not at all. They would have obviously been making the deal for longer than 3 days [about how long ago it went on]. And its not like the league rewarded them with Iverson. plzdie: plzdie:

I'm really interested in seeing how this Iverson-Melo combo will work out.

I'll give you a hint... look at Marbury and Francis.

they play 2 different positions..?

[DAS REICH] Blitz 12-19-2006 10:05 PM

yeah, SG and SF. But what that quote says is that they have replaced the league's leading scorer in Anthony (who is on suspension) with the leagues second leading scorer Iverson (otherwise meaning the team basically lost nothing scoring wise).

The sixers got a pretty good deal. They got rid of a troublesome player who hasn't won a championship plus they will have three first round pics. If they played it right they should be a pretty good team in a couple years.

Andre Miller is a pretty good player too. The other guy (can't remember his name) has a contract that expires after this year, thus the Sixers will be left with a lot of cap room to work with.

I think it was a good trade by Philly.
