Neah, it looked more like he tried to chop him in the mid section than the face. Wound up in the face, and it was brutal, but I think an indefinate suspension is plenty justice. |

The last player to attack someone with there stick was banned from the NHL. This should be no differant.

Bertuzzi should have been banned. His was a premeditated act, with far worse consequences. This act was in the heat of the moment, not premeditated.
And you're thinking of Marty McSorley who hit Donald Brashear in the helmet with his stick. McSorley wasn't banned for life wither. I think it was for a year, but he never came back after that I believe. |
