As something of a stand-up junkie I was very familiar with Richard Jeni.

Shame, he was an exceptionally talented comedian.

Well the news article did make it a point to say it wasn't confirmed a suicide.

Perhaps it's Phil Hartman all over again.

R.I.P., but I don't condone suicide...not like his life was bad...id be fucking shitting myaself if i had the kind of money he had...and not like he was unbeliveably famous

I don't get people who don't "condone" suicide. People that are ACTUALLY suicidal don't generally have much going for them. So what he had money, if you had money for as long as he had it, you'd be over it too.

Sometimes people think a little deeper than others and find in the depth of their mind that life feels purposeless, and empty. This is called depression. It isnt a matter of "Look at what you have to live for." Its deeper inside your head than that and once you get that low you feel as though nothing in the world will cure you.

I feel sorry for people who think suicide is the answer, but I would never judge someone for it.
