Well logically, that is impossible. But on a mental, social level - its not so far fetched. As for the medical claim the woman is putting forth - all opportunistic posturing. But its silly to suggest that the "effect of slavery" isnt out there - and not just Black slavery. |
I just don't see why people are so adamant about trying to correct the past. There is not one civilization on this earth that has not used slaves, there is also not one race, or religion, that has not been slaves themselves. So by what she is saying, everyone is suffering from PTSS, except just not to the extent as blacks.
She also says you don't have to be in, or witness a traumatic experience to be effected by it. She then used 9/11 which in my mind does not really count. People in Washington state that had absolutely 0 ties to the 9/11 attacks can't in my mind claim PTSD from the attacks as they suffered no traumatic experience other than gaining the knowledge that there was an attack on their own country. In my mind, what she is proposing is just so broad and encompasses so much and so many that it should not be called a disorder seeing how it effects everyone. |
well thew fact is ive never had slaves, so I should not have to give a shit about some syndrome.

It's not like the entire country owned slaves. |

That is not too far-fetched at all |
They're trying to outjew the Jews.
|
the black community blaming their problems on someone else and wanting free handouts from the government? suprise....suprise....

You made a good point though in the post I didn't quote. They're not taking my money or impacting me in any way, so it's hard to care. |
