Iran claims they entered Iranian waters. Brits say they weren't. He said she said. I can't blame them really if they were in Iranian waters. I doubt the Iranians would be so stupid as to capture foreign troops outside of their own waters. That's just asking for trouble.

Sailors/Matelots from HMS Cornwall, I hope the frigate goes over there, gets the sailors back & blows those Iranian gits out the water. The service is having quite a time of it, 2 submariners died yesterday in an exercise in Alaska & now 15 are taken prisoner. annoy:

Edit: I remember some British marines got caught, and were arrested, in Iranian waters 3 or 4 years ago. The Iranians should have hanged them, and they should hang this new bunch of diddies too.

i dont know, maybe they were in Iranian waters, maybe they werent. We'll have to just wait and see...

They are letting the female sailor free soon apparently, good for her but slightly sexist imho. Everyone signed up for the same dangers. There's a kid of 21 there who has as much right of freedom as her.

maybe it's for religious reasons. I know Iran's brand of islam has very strict rules about the differences between men and women. Not sure if her being released is caused by that or not, but it might have something to do with some rule they have.
