Zoner 04-09-2007 11:55 AM

I was skeptical when i was reading about this a while ago, but goddamned if that trailer doesn't look sweet as hell.

I will see this.

umm....yeah. the movie is going to suck. the mask is fucking awful it doesnt have the same feel of the first one. he turned myers into a monster instead of a guy whos out for revenge. ill see it but with low ass aspectations. he had no business remaking the first one. do a sequal dont fuck around with the best horror movie ever made.

umm looked to me like he was a fucked up in the head kid who grew up to be a fucked up in the head guy...just like the original. I saw no monster aspects of it.

Zoner 04-09-2007 02:25 PM

Myers IS a monster. He's pure evil personified.

I'm still a little skeptical, but the trailer has eased a few of my fears.

The mask isn't THAT bad. rolleyes:

looks interesting, im starting to get back into the crazy psycho movies again.

Proteus 04-09-2007 02:30 PM

Gonzo's just seen 500 million movies, 400 million of which that sucked, so his expectations are always low.

Rob Zombie does a good job with his movies because he himself has a passion for them (now saying that I would imagine all directors do though).

Well fuck they made halloween 4, 5 and 6 - Why not make a remake? The series has already been fucked with.

Honestly horror remakes don't bug me too much, because they make so godamn many it doesnt feel like anything is getting tainted.

I like the look of this though, I just hope they capture the weird atmosphere in Haddonfield on that night - Thats the beauty of carpenter's work...Dude has so much control over the atmosphere in his films.

If this does well, no doubt they'll remake of part 2.

Malcolm Macdowell was the perfect choice to replace Donald Pleasance too - Can't think of anyone better for the job.

rofllll

uncle phil would have done a pretty good job now that I think about it, he's got a deep dark voice that would be perfect for explaining the dark eyed pure evil that is Michael Myers.

Paintballr 04-09-2007 03:08 PM

I thought the mask didn't look that bad.

Arkan 04-09-2007 08:36 PM

Lock n load motherfuckers !! Michael is coming to get you !!
