I mostly play with the SMG or the MG and sometimes with the shotgun. I've heard people complaining about the shotgun being to deadly. I know you can kill a guy with just onew shot but this is at short distance. At long distance it sucks.
Today I played Omaha on a server where nearly everyone where armed with a shotgun and there were like 30 of us. The game was barely playable. Using the SMG you couldn't stand a chance. Impossible! Something must be wrong when the game is so unbalanced when everyone uses the same weapon...

There isn't a problem with the shotgun.
There is a problem with allied snipers and axis spawn campers on Omaha though.

I hate the shotgun, but what are you going to do? I always play on realistic servers and most of the time the people on there play with other weapons than the sniper rifle, RL, and the shotgun.
