too bad its a no name non licensed game. they still dont have the NFLPA license
not sure if its even old pro's or what "there will be late hits, improved artificial intelligence that mimics humans, and, as some had suspected, NFL legends. The familiar 1-100 sports rating system has also been abandoned in favor of what he says is a "+/- rating." However, the real point of contention is the ability to customize the game's rosters. Because 2K does not have a deal with the NFL, All-Pro will not feature current NFL players. A portion of the magazine scan says, "You won't be able to recreate NFL teams or players. 'I've decided a long time ago we're not doing that,' says Jeff [Thomas of developer Visual Concepts]. '[That option] is not in the game, and people gotta be aware of that right now.'" Badboy49er later says that the article does not go into detail about the game's customization. " http://www.gamespot.com/news/show_blog_ ... es;title;1 its basically a nicer version of BLITZ. so this game will sell like shit people want the NFL not some fake assleague |
um... a lot more people own PS2/Xbox than Xbox 360 and PS3. So why (according to gamestop) is this game coming out only on two systems that the majority of the consumers don't have?

Probably because its a next gen game and making it work with older systems means the graphics and effects will have to be dumbed down. |
They need to bring back the helmet cam from 2k5.
|
Yeah I really don't see much point in sports games to release games on old systems now. Sure, there might be 100 million people who own PS2s, but if a developer puts all of their resources into making an incredible sports game which already sells well (i.e. Madden, which has been lacking lately) then that's when we'll officially have the shift into the next generation of consoles.
|
well, people aren't going to buy $500 systems if all they bring in is better graphics, because the games sure as hell aren't any better than the PS2/Xbox games (especially with everything EA Sports has put out lately). I'll buy a PS3/Xbox 360 once a good sports game (or any type of game excluding the Halo/Gears of War type) comes out.

Well...thats really all they do bring in with the exception of the wii. Its pretty much always been the case of more powerful systems when new ones come out. This generation for ps3 and 360 is all about HD which = better graphics. And people are buying them so moot argument. |

what about the Saturn and 3DO? those were better, albeit shittier, systems for their time and just disappeared when no good games came out for it. While I doubt it will happen this time around, seeing as there are no alternative, dominant systems, the quality of good games is drastically decreasing as a whole in the industry. |
