Anyone know of another way other than the default slide bar to speed up your mouse speed?


I just installed windows XP Professional & now My mouse speed ROYALLY SUCKS!!!!!!

Before I installed XP I had Windows 98 SE

In one of the config files from the .Pak6 file there is a setting that reads as follows:

seta in_mouse "-1"

I used this in a multitude of variatiojns & seen NO differance


Anyone else have XP & have this problem?

I found out what the problem was...


I also have the Microsoft Exoplorer 3.0 mouse, Under the settings for the mouse there is a setting "Enhance Pointer Precision", I unchecked this & now My mouse speed is back to normal...

However now I have a new problem...

Now when strafing in a circle such as going up or down stairs around the turns the strafe turn speed sucks!!!

Guess I am just gunna have to deal with this problem cuz I can't figure it out.

Just as You said go to consol & type in Sensitivity & the a number & hit enter


Mine was best set at Sensitivity 30

default is 5
