If I install a mod (a wepon mod - weapon skin, or a blood mod) will my MP games the same way ?

The effect of the mod will be visible only by me ? ... no?

This is true. any mod you install on your box will only be visible to you.
There are some server sided mods that you do not have to download. Like realism and no siper or rockets

No..only you will be able to see what mods you have installed. As we can't even see the uniform you are wearing I still can't figure out why there are new uniform skins, however the blood and weapons mods are visable by you and are there to enhance your visuals only.

yeah i got all excited and went out and downloaded a ton of skins like hitler and mario and a guy in a red track suit. took me hours and then i found out that no one else sees your skins. do they see them if you are the server and you are using skins???

No skins are only viewable on the computer with the mod. Unless the other players have the same mod as you installed then you will see there skin and they will see yours
