I feel sorry for the man who killed himself. His whole life was controlled by his compulsions. annoy: RIP

F him and the spineless DA. I love the fact that the DA knew in advance about the operation but waited until it was over and people got all shitty before criticizing it.

We had a similar sting happen here when a model posed as an underaged teen. Meetings were set up and arrests were made but, alot of shit got stirred up because of it. It really came down to politics.

meh...anything it takes to catch a pedo should be allowed.

Madmartagen 06-30-2007 12:36 AM

whats a pedo nowadays? 16, 17? i mean theyre fucking anyways, why not a 27 year old man like me? theyre banging some 16 year old shits with pimples, why not me - i got skills.

im not sure if cybering with a 24 year old chick posing as 15 year old warrants a felony thats for sure.

lol nice rip of a david cross joke.

its the solicitation mad, they think they are soliciting a 14 year old for buttsecks. Just like female cops dressing up like hookers and soliciting a BJ from some dude, they arent hookers but its what they tried to solicit. also like guy cops rolling up on prostitutes and seeing if they will ask if they want to fuck/get blown.

Doesn't the person need to start the conversation; kind of lead it? If not I thought it was entrapment. I know with dealing drugs, the dealer needs to ask the cop "how much/what do you want"..I could be totally off here.

It's entrapment if someone commits a crime under circumstances they normally wouldn't due to the police giving incentive to commit the crime, such as leaving a car door open in a car theft sting.

The only way to get entrapment in a situation like this would be to offer the sex offender something in return for coming over besides sex, such as money. Anything that would be incentive for the sex offender to come to the house aside from sex itself would be something that could be liable for entrapment.

well they actually say in the article that they have to have the pedo make the 1st move. They cant say like "omg I love sex" or "How big is your dick"
the pedo has to make the 1st sexual advance

True, except the article also says the chats were initiated by members of "Perverted Justice" and not the police.
