I have installed several weapon skins and can't seem to see a difference in any of the weapons. I put the pk3 file in the main folder just the same as i do with all other mods, but can't tell that it is working.

can anyone help me out here?

I am wondering if it is my method of unzipping that is screwing it up. Instead of using winzip I just drag the the pk3 file into another folder and then cut and paste it into the main folder. However, that has worked with blood and sound mods.

you need to turn compressed textures off in options menu
