This will either suck or rock! If it sucks I will personally hunt him down
and make him read each and every post that Pyro has ever made!!!!

Seen the trailer for it on youtube a while back, actually looks pretty decent. Its another one of the hollywood bandwagon of remakes but its a story that could use remaking to show what Michael was like as a kid more indepth than the original.

Rob Zombie does a good job directing. I'm looking forward to it.

this movie will suck. zombie cant direct himself out of a clear plastic bag.

Halloween really doesnt need remaking as the original is more than effective enough. Like the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre didnt need remaking.

....Having said that, this movie looks like it could work well - He seems to have captured the atmosphere of haddonfield (from what I could get from the trailers ive seen)...could be okay.

^ Agreed.

The original Halloween is one of my favourite movies of all time, so a "re-imagining" isn't really needed. Having said that, it does look like Zombie has done a fantastic job. The trailer looks awesome.

I dont think its reimagniing, its more or less just showing more of michael as a kid which the original was lacking, far as i remember the original just showed michael stabbing his parents or whatever and that was it, i think this fills in more on what was driving him to do it and how\why he seems to be able to take every type of hiding and still come back.

What you just wrote is how I would define a "re-imagining". biggrin:

It's a different swing at the same movie. Which is fine, but the original was so awesome it's hard to improve on it. I'm really looking froward to it, though.
