avg free edition

ninty 08-31-2007 10:49 AM

yeah avg is good. can get it for free. i use avg internet security 7.5 or whatever. Can get a 2 year subscription for 3 licenses for $100. That's what I will be doing when I get my third comp running.

is the firewall in windows xp ok? i mean id rather just run that and then a stand alone antivirus program. plus i have the hardware firewall in my router so i should be ok. or is the xp firewall worthless?

If you're on XP, remember the Windows Firewall only blocks incoming shit. The one in Vista does in and out, but outgoing is disabled by default. (I can't remember what OS it is you're using Terence.)
