My rig has been running a little iffy lately and I want to give it a couple scans with some protection programs (anti virus, registry cleaner, etc.) but I don't generally use them.

List programs you use to keep your rig running clean and healthy.

spybot s&d, ad-aware, avg anti-virus

-never install anything you dont want to use. build a test rig and use it to craft a fine image.

Pretty much those. There are free versions of both AVG, and Ad-Aware. Spybot Search & Destroy is free by default.

if your into torrents download GeekSquad MRI 4.8.0 (the shit that those BestBuy guys use) it scans for everything
