wpm and kph?
 

i applied for this job as a data entry clerk and found out that the minimum keystrokes per hour they wanted was 8,000! MINIMUM. I scored around 4,200 only because i rarely use the fuckin keypad when entering numeric data but i'll start asap. But i was just wondering if you guys knew what your wpm/kph may be.

I wouldn't know because I have never typed for over an hour. I can imagine that mine is fairly high though as I can type fast enough to get a ful lecture with only few missed words.

Mines not nearly 8,000 per hour as I often mess up and have to edit my typing. I would imagine in an hour I could type several thousand but no where near 8k.

this is on the keypad..not wpm. im not sure how kph is caculated. The k must stand for..

I have no idea, but all I do at work is use the numpad. I verify scanned invoices from around 1100-1640 mon-fri, so I suppose Ive got a pretty decent number of keystrokes...

right..my mind went blank

mines like 80wpm, but i've never typed for a full hour..fuck that.

80*60 = 4800 wpm

say a 5 character average word = 24000 kph
