That totally sucks....to be killed in the "safety" of your own home with your family present. He bled out from the leg wound.

I went to bed last night with them saying he was responsive...I wake up this morning and see this. Lots of NFL players have been dying lately but It's amazing how different it is when it happens to someone on your team that you've watched so much.

His coaches said he was the best physical athlete they'd ever seen.

I guess I'll never get to see him and Laron Landry split a guy in half at the waist with a high/low tackle like I wanted to...

RIP, whats worse IMO is that he was supposedly getting his life back together, and he was maturing into a better player

Total shame, it really really is a shame. Hope they catch the guy who did it and castorate him.

was amazing with the 'canes, was one of my fav players. had the potential to be one of the best safety's ever...gonna miss him :(
