Seeing as you play Lt. Mike Powell, wouldn't it make sense that you actually lead a group of men? In MP, there are all sorts of commands for moving troops. I would love to be able to say "Squad, Attack left flank" to the 101st guys and have them follow the orders. It would make SP version more fun from an officer's point of view.

This would have helped keep the tank crew alive during snipers' last stand. Too often they would stand in the open and get wasted. Imagine if you could say "squad hold this position" and have them stay in one area. Then you take care of the roof snipers and say "area clear, squad move in" and have the guys come out.

Just a thought. I'm not sure if it would require an unreal amount of programming, but I would love it if for the next version, they could try to encorporate this.

The dirty dozen game, does this very well. It would make an nice add on. You control your squad with command but can jump into their boots at anytime.

I agree, one command I would like to see them follow is "hey buddy GET DOWN"
or "take cover". they just stand there and take hit after hit. I remember the first time I played the SP demo and my guys all died, I felt badly for them lol (admit it, you did too hehe)
On the first mission in the full version even if you manage to keep some of them alive they still are pronounced dead when you go to the rescue mission. It would have been cool if they stuck around to help you on the next mission.

I think you would get more of a flashpoint game. MOHAA is more of an action game.

Take a look at the upcoming WW2 shooter -Battlefield 1942 if you want a squad commanding game.Apparently you can steal any vehicle you want aka Op Flashpoint...

Sgt. Shultz, I had your same idea.
It would be great to have the option to give orders to lower ranks.
That system is in Operation Flashpoint, and work quite well.

Cheers

Yeah I got the OFP for ½ year for now.Its still a good game.I like to say to my net buddies that "yo, you go get the flag I cover your ass with my SVD Dragunov" and they do it. http://www.alliedassault.com/ubb/smile.gif Well the system would be a nice addon to MOHAA too yeah. Its frustrating to try get medals for example in Snipers Last Stand for example, when the stupid allies don't get their heads down.I tried to get the medal for few hours and made it http://www.alliedassault.com/ubb/biggrin.gif; but still it was very very frustrating.(Hard Difficulty)

A command system would be nice, but you see they use radios to be the link system in OFP.But of course..hmm.I know.

Maybe EA should buy Roger Wilco http://www.alliedassault.com/ubb/biggrin.gif and sell command systems to players with mics so they can command ppl.Easy isn't it. http://www.alliedassault.com/ubb/biggrin.gif THen there you go a nice system, and you can command them to do anything. With AI you should have a code what to do when you type this command, like "Squad, attack right flank!" and they attack it.

Probably I am repeating what you said but don't mind then http://www.alliedassault.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
