and plz, i went through 5 different ps2's thanks to "disc read error". And anyways, why would Microsoft want to make a great console when they're scheme is to turn consoles into computers (make a new one every 3 years and force people to pay to use the internet for the "full experience")

ive had a red ring of death, sent the console back and got it replaced and still have a 3 year warranty which is amazing.

Just get a PS3 with it's enormous library of games....

That normally run a bit slower and look slightly worse than the 360 counterpart. :D For all sonys jerking off over the cell and what it can do its sure as fuck not showing anything close to what they anticipated.

Its funny that sony have won a format war with a console thats floundering compared to the competition, its like the ps3 was a sacrificial lamb just to get blu-ray over on hd-dvd.

Best thing sony did was get rid of that madman Kuturagi, his comments coming up to launch were so fucking arrogant, "people WILL work longer hours to own one of these". :crazy:

gamecube was the worst console ever.

The cube had some pretty good games, just when it came out every developer was on sonys cock with the ps2. Nintendo's past reputation of being sony like (nazi) during the development of the n64 probably helped that along though.

same as gerv said, gamecube was quite amazing with loads of great games. problem is people associate best selling consoles for the better consoles which doesnt always work out, say britney spears album sales against say someone like radiohead - bet britney spears has sold more.


the best console ive ever owned was the dreamcast, amazing games, amazing hardware - but it didnt sell well so failed.


id say the worst console in my eyes is the Wii or the jaguar.

i hated all the games for the gamecube. I didn't find any that hit me. I'd MUCH rather play a PS1 over a gamecube.

Dreamcast was pretty bad-ass though I must admit.

see i never got in to any of those zelda games, mario games, or even Metal gear solid games (I know, you can curse me). I liked the sports games that were great with PS2.

I'm so glad the last console i purchased was Playstation. Got it solely for DOOM.
