.50 cal fun

What are the odds of that happening? luckiest person on the planet right there.

I remember seeing this a couple months ago. Sketchy is all that can describe that. There is another video out there of a private security agent shooting an AK that blows up as hes firing.

what the fuck happened?

The bullet hit something, richoched straight back, skipped off the ground and hit the ear protectors. If you watch the vid when you hear the whistling sound you can see something hit the ground in front of the rifle

that's insane. amazing he survived that.

Arkan 03-11-2008 03:15 PM

ricochets suck, don't they?

Pyro 03-11-2008 03:50 PM

if that shit is even possible...he is stupid to even try it

[DAS REICH] Blitz 03-11-2008 04:21 PM

wow that whistling sound is like a cartoon

jujumantb 03-11-2008 08:23 PM

what could it hit to make it come backward like that? im extremely confused...

ninty 03-13-2008 12:36 PM

a rock, or anything really if it hit it on the correct angle

but whats the correct angle to have it come straight back? it would seem to have to hit it squarely, which would clearly NOT make it bounce back, it would just disintegrate. You can clearly hear it hit the metal target, so maybe it glanced off that at like a 90 degree, then hit something else at the perfect angle to turn it the rest of the 90 degrees... seems so unlikely, but i cant think of any other way that could happen.. hmmm

ninty 03-13-2008 01:43 PM

it doesn't have to go straight back. In fact, bullets fired from a gun don't travel in a straight line. they travel in an arc. so likely the ricochet sent the bullet in a large arc upward is what i would guess.

Arkan 03-15-2008 09:44 AM

I think it hit something on the ground on it's way back.
