Authorities are considering charges in the bizarre case of a woman who sat on her boyfriend’s toilet for two years — so long that her body was stuck to the seat by the time the boyfriend finally called police. Ness County Sheriff Bryan Whipple said it appeared the 35-year-old Ness City woman’s skin had grown around the seat. She initially refused emergency medical services but was finally convinced by responders and her boyfriend that she needed to be checked out at a hospital.
“We pried the toilet seat off with a pry bar and the seat went with her to the hospital,” Whipple said. “The hospital removed it.”

lol

How could you sit down for 2 years? You think her legs would have suffered from a lack of blood flow or something. Shit, when I sit on the toilet for 15+ mins my legs start to fall asleep. hahah

was the toilet in the bathroom? it'd be intersting to know if there was a TV in front of her with her boyfriend serving food. She'd never have to get up!

This is why women should get jobs. On the plus side, at least she didn't have the opportunity to crank out kids while on the can. That would have been one hell of a clog.

She has anthropy of the legs. which basically means her legs are completely useless now.

Coleman 03-13-2008 07:14 PM

i thought the look of things were just atrophied legs. Isn't that the same thing that happens with people with casts on their legs and such? They just build it back up?

They shouldn't charge the guy. I work for a medical products delivery company. Basically I bring old people and disabled folk. Walkers, Wheelchairs, canes, hospital beds, etc... We recently had a 90 year old women who's been in her bed for months. For anyone who doesn't know what happens to people who sit in a bed for that long, they develop bed sores. Bed sores occur when there's a build up of heat, moisture, urine and there's a lack of movement. There's varying stages of bed sores that range from 1-4. Well this lady had a 4. A 4 is so wicked that you can actually see down to the bone. Her situation was so bad that the state had to intervene and get her medical equipment. They asked her family what they were thinking when they let her do this and all they said was they thought they were helping her. Tough situation to be in.

Fuck, it's not this guys fault. The dumb woman flipped out lost her mind and wouldn't leave the bathroom. Why should he be charged. He tried to help her, brought her food and water, and kept asking her to come out. She went mental and sat on the toilet and didn't move for 2 years. If anything she should be committed.
