Per-order'd the special edition today, who else is picking this up? If you don't have a console than what the fuck are you waiting for!
The only thing that is bugging me is that the contents says nothing about the "lock box" but it is shown in the picture. The "lock box" is the only reason im getting the special edition.

lock box is small enough to carry away therefore it is ineffective....
wish I had a 360 so I could play this game.

what are the chances the hype is too great for this game? considering how console games have been as of late (mostly on PS3), I'm not expecting much.

Depends on how much they've done to the game to differentiate it from its predecessors. I enjoyed gta 3 but not so much the 2 that came after it, just felt like the same game in slightly different locations with a few new car models tossed in.

Wasn't it san andreas they for some reason put in that weird rpg like element of having to eat and exercise your character to change his appearence? That felt amazingly out of place for a game like gta.

It'll probably sell by the bucket load regardless if it gets bad reviews or not though.
