Pacific theatre.

Seems theres also russian missions in it for some reason. Looks like it might skip back and forth from pacific to europe.

this is what is going to happen with this game. people are going to go " oh sweet a new call of duty" pop into their system of choice play 2 levels and realize something is wrong. activision really needs to stop having treyarch put out fake call of duty games.

Damn, good find Gerv!

Jimmy Paterson 06-10-2008 12:56 AM

pffft. what happened to the whole modern era!

rudedog 06-10-2008 07:57 AM

Old past rumors where even CoD numbered games would be Modern and by IW odd numbered games would by by treyarch and be WWII or console only.

Numbers have gone bye-bye and Treyarch will not be pushing their release to all platforms including PC.

I'm hoping to have more info very soon.

That being said its a pacific theatre game so its probably doomed from the offset.

Nyck 06-10-2008 08:21 AM

read about it yesterday and fuck this game

1. treyarch not IW..gay
2. oh boy WWfuckinII again...YAWN

its also for the 1st time supposed to allow Coop SP missions

rudedog 06-10-2008 08:22 AM

damn it sorry about that

Should have said, Treyarch will be pushing their next cod game to all platforms including the PC

As for the numbers. CoD 5,6,7.... will not have numbers as in CoD5 will be called call of duty world at war

sorry

Personally, I prefer the WWII setting. I know a lot of us got burned out on the 1940s after CoD2 and the 4 people who bought Brothers in Arms, but I'm ready to revisit that setting again.

geRV 06-10-2008 10:21 AM

I dont get why people complain about the ww2 setting, there are literally tons of campaigns that havn't even been attempted in a cod or moh game. Its not like theres some mass shortage of modern or near future shooters where the enemies are all (shock) arabs who have got their hands on some nukes. Theres fucking assloads of those games but as soon as a new ww2 game is announced theres complaints.

Be interesting to see if the pc crowd are gonna get boned again and get another fps where weapons have literally no recoil, wolverine health system and nade spam ftw. Cod1 and Uo was where it was at for pc, the franchise went multi format and while keeping an interesting sp the games multi was tarded down far too much.

oh... so this is like Battlefield:Vietnam is compared to Battlefield 2.

Arkan 06-10-2008 04:36 PM

Shit, gotta get back into the gaming scene. Really haven't played anything in ages.
Time for a new system.

elstatec 06-10-2008 06:01 PM

whiney bitches.

call of duty 3 online was amazing.

Gonzo 06-13-2008 06:29 PM

you sir are a moron

rudedog 06-13-2008 08:29 PM

Well I can't say much as I'm under embargo.... but

wow........

Just got to the airport, taking the redeye home. I however meet Merciless from the old merciless mod for CoD. He now works for Treyarch.

I will say there is a lot of PC talent there and they are hyped for a PC release.

More to come soon
