Yah, wut Ydiss said. You don't nesscessarly need to be shot 1 time in the foot to die. MOH wasn't built like SoF, with a GHOUL system for area-specific damage. It's a very basic system actually: Headshot = max. damage, center mass = mid. damage, and limbs = min. damage.

Depending on what weapon, the damage can be greater or less than usual. For instance, everyone knows one bullet is all a sniper needs to take down an enemy from say, 50 meters. But a BAR, as accurate as a MG it is, you will probably need the entire clip to take out the enemy.

So, don't go around thinking that cheats exist still, after the 1.1 patch. It's just a random damage system that MOH uses.

I can tell you some people have modded guns out there. I know what a MP40 sounds like in this game, I have heard two MP40's going off and one was firing ALOT faster than the other and was doing ALOT more damage. I rarely run into things like this so it isnt that bad.

anyone here ever heard of server side mods? modding weapons on your side does nothing when you join a game. that is why you do not have unmodded weapons when you go play on a realism server.

Simple HEX editing can change most values of a game on your computer without having to be on the main server and only you would have the altered values.
Counter-Strike was a classic example of the HEX editors in use.

and there are links to cs hex editors all over the place. until i see one for mohaa he probably took a burst and the last one ended up in his foot.

With my observations have been on our own server that has NO mods.

I have been sniping for a while and when I see a hand or a foot sticking I shoot and sometimes it kills them!!I dunno why but it ain't cheating!!

Agreed. I havent seen any evidence during gameplay of Hex'ing yet a lot of people complaining because they didnt know what "realism" meant when they entered the server.

Ok, first off, I know how tiring it is to read about "cheaters", but I'm gonna do it anyway http://www.alliedassault.com/ubb/smile.gif I had been playing some team based matches lately and I noticed a couple people would barely even shoot 3 bullets into me from any of the machine guns and I was dead. I let it slide because the first couple of times I was getting hit in around the upper torso and thought maybe they just had good aim. But then, this thing happened quite a few times where the guy would come up to me and shoot me with maybe 3 quick bursts and kill me. Problem though was that the screen said he killed shot me in the FOOT or LEG! I died in less then half a second by getting shot in the LEG!? Is there some kind of mod that is letting people do this or what!? I mean, it never used to be like that when I first started playin MOHAA online when it first came out. Please help :O

One time I was playing and was shot in the hand with a sniper rifel and died. I had 100 health. I do think some people are still able to cheat

Well, the sniper rifle is another story, I don't mind that so much, but when I have an auto and am up against someone else with an auto, I dont see how shooting me in the foot can kill me in less than half a second. Especially after I have emptied almost a half a clip into the guy. It isn't that they have a god mode on, because they always get my health after they kill me. It seems that their weapon is just very very powerful.

The only thing that does make me mad is when I sneak up on someone who isn't even looking in my direction and I shoot them point blank range and they finally turn around and shoot me once and I'm dead. No matter what anybody says there is a cheat out there. Either that or my gun is shooting BB's. Oh by the way he must of just skimmed my wrist and caused me to bleed to death...lol
