oRTeGa, sorry for editing your post, but please don't post 1600x1200 size screen shots, for a second I thought someone was messing with our board.
A small one like the one I replaced would be enough, 2015 made those, they know which screen shot you're talking about even if you post a small one http://www.pcgamers.net/ubb/smile.gif [This message has been edited by BadScript (edited February 28, 2001).] |
I'm a little lost, are you asking us for our opinions on which sig graphic to use? I say whichever's smaller than, but I'd go with the bottom one cuz it's lot more character than the marine shooting one.
Well at least your sig works... [sigh] |
Part of the problem with the lighting on those soldiers is that lighting for models was in a very rudimentary state when those screenshots were taken. The current lighting looks a lot better.
Our skinner rocks, and (like all the artists) is very particular about historical accuracy. |
Well, uhhhhhhhh.....yeah. The uniforms of the two soldiers in the back on this screenshot: http://www.alliedassault.com/img/003s.jpg
are way too bright. They must be field grey or german grey. And these look like aquagreen or seegreen. I don't know what you guys think, but It looks like the uniform from a german marconist in the german army or of a reservist. Just give me your thoughts on this one! O yeah, the officers uniforms are excellent and the faces too. The medals are correct and the trousers indicate that he is from the german artillery branch. Testing sig, testing testing!
Well, what do you guys think? This one: http://dodmanowar.homestead.com/files/manowar.jpg or the new one beneeth this post!?? ------------------ -oRTeGa http://personalstuff.homestead.com/files/Picture_0.jpg |
oRTeGa-- The Branch piping on the officers trousers is correct, however, red is for General Staff Officers. A maroon shade is for arty. The guys who are making the game know what they are doing. Dont lose the faith.
