I just wanted to (be a real pain in the a**) and tell the web page designer that the German soldier at the top left of the http://www.alliedassault.com page is holding a Garand rifle. That 10 pound baby should be in the hands of a US soldier (2nd Ranger or 29th Divison for example), not the SS...
Constructive criticism is all. On that note, why not put a graphic of US combat soldier up there instead of the Nazi? :-) ------------------ Thank you WWII combat veterans |
Greeting friend. I believe this has been meantioned before. Also, the soldier is not an SS soldier. I have never seen any SS soldiers in any screen shots of this game so far. I believe that the soldier that is holding the M1 is actually a common wermacht soldier.

Yeah, in our first batch of screenshots our Mauser KAR 98K's weren't ready yet, so we substituted M1's just for the time being. Since that guy in the upper left was taken from those screenshots, hence he's holding the wrong rifle :). They're holding their KAR's now, so rest assured that was a temp thing for those screenshots.
I don't think we've put any of our SS guys in the screenshots, just Wehrmacht and Afrika Corps guys. I know we showed off some SS Panzer guys in the snipertown level we showed at E3, but alas, no screenshots of those guys yet :(. ------------------ ----------------------- Latuh fuh U, Benson benson@2015.com "We don't introduce or cause bugs in the game, we merely find and bring to light the inadequacies within the code." -regarding level designers |
Thanks for the clarification, 2015. I figured you guys would get it right.

Oops... SS... Wermacht... Volksgrenadiers... I'll refer to them as Krauts from here on out. ;-)
I knew the Garand with German thing was mentioned before for one of the screen shots but not the actual web page. Like I said, I'm probably being a pain in the rear end but it was bugging me. Either way, looking forward to the sim! |
