I agree with Hells-Angel because of who cares how the quick the death animations are its a game for gods sakes. And some of you idiots are saying "when someone gets shot they should fall at a certain angle"

all i can say is who fu(k really cares about tiny little worthless details like that, that have nothing to do with actual gameplay. So i would appreciate if some of you could lay off how the "death animations" look.

If this is supposed to be a realistic game, I want REALISTIC DEATH ANIMATIONS. *lol*

This animation issue isn't worthless... far from it ! How many soldiers are you going to be gunning down throughout the game !? hundreds!? With animations like this ?

Have you ever seen the daring Los Angeles bank robbery where the two guys with ak47's get gunned down ?? Notice how the first falls when shot straight in the head.. THEN tell me that the animations make sense hehe

I dont go looking for gunfights buddy =)

Can you extrapolate on the meaning of your last message ?

Hells-Angel 06-05-2001 07:46 AM

you talken about that robbery where everyone thought it was a movie? I live across the country =)

SoLiDUS 06-05-2001 07:49 AM

I'm simply giving you the example you don't want to see : a guy falling for 20 seconds LOL.

That's how it works bud.. you get shot, it WILL take SOME time for you to collapse.. you don't just fall down in less than 3/10th of a second as if you were a thousand pounds.

Check it out..

I was reading on a gmaes website that some of the animations look a little "wooden" and unrealistic.

They said that in snipertown when the germans are standing around the tank and they notice youre there the animations dont look very convincing.

The death animations also imo could use a lot of work the way they fall is far too fast looking.

Hells-Angel 06-05-2001 10:36 AM

what do you want? A 60's movie where they fall 20 seconds after they are shot? People if you have ever seen someone get shot then you can talk but I think 2015 knows what they are doing

geRV 06-05-2001 10:49 AM

Well the death animations are a bit too fast thats plainly obvious. I think it was ign.com that said that .

I agree, the death animations, from what i've seen so far, are wooden and weak.
The soldiers just don't have any weight to them. http://www.pcgamers.net/ubb/frown.gif
A shame really, because the models look pretty good.

This topic about death animations was allready mentioned days ago. But sadly i didn't see a definite answer from 2015.

I'm just gonna wait it out and trust 2015 that they are gonna fix this for the final version.

BTW, unlike some people here, i do care about details like this.

Amen

I was watching the movie they had on the offical AA site. And I agree the death animation is too quick and I've seen some in-game death animations and they do don't look realistic. Maybe they'll fix it in time. And I think they should because a game like this will likely have many deaths. But this will not deter me from getting the game.
