I am in search of a job and I am looking for suggestions. I have come up with a few questions for you....

First one is, what is your job?

Do you need some kind of education for your job?

If you do, what type of school do you need to go to?

How long would you need to attend in that school?

What schools would you recommend?

How long do you work daily?

Did you need to go back to school for additional training?

Why did you decide to become what you are?

Did you have any other jobs before this one? What was it and how did it help you get the job you have now?

What is the average pay for the job you have?

When will you retire?

What do you do in your job?

Is your job fun, and why?

What equipment do you need for the job?

Can you ever get some type of promotion?

Well, at the moment, I'm unemployed http://www.pcgamers.net/ubb/frown.gif but that will soon change. I'm going back to school, getting good marks, then joining the Army, get a trade, and then I gotta decide if I wanna be in till I retire. Ugh, the trials of life, I tells ya.

I might join the army too.

a) I teach Communication classes at a community college and I also do consulting for different companies from time to time.

b) I graduated from U of Toronto

c) 4 years

d) When I was in Canada U of T was my best bet, dunno bout the U.S. I live in the U.S. now but I'm still a Canadian.

e) On average I work about 35 hours / week.

f) No

g) I haven't really thought about it.

h) I used to flip hamburgers at Burger King when I was in college.

j) If everything goes well, maybe when in my late 50 early 60.

k) I teach

l) It's fun, I like watching the kids doing my activities. When I consult for some companies I get to see management class persons do that too.

m) I'm a teacher, I get everything I need from the college I work at.

n) I'm only starting, my title is "instructor", I can go from here to assistance professor, professor, lecturer, etc.

YAY! Thanks everyone who contributed here!

Spooge, if you do decide to join the Army, whatever you do, get good grades and get yourself a trade (whether that be technical or something else), that way you have something to fall back on if you decide to leave the Army and you'll be fully qualified for that sort of job in civilian life.

My grade point average is 4.2, which is very good!
