YEAH FOR A STALINGRAD BATTLE!!
------------------ Shroom "For the burned cities and villages; for the deaths of our children and our mothers; for the torture and humiliation of our people; I swear revenge upon the enemy… I swear that I would rather die in battle with the enemy then surrender myself my people and my country to the Fascist invaders. Blood for blood! Death for death!" - Russian War Oath |
I believe only the Western Front Allies, and battles, will be modeled.

i hope they make a lot different kinds of maps like sniper and close quater combat maps
|
To bad we wont have any Eastern front maps. But I do hope we have sniper maps...that'd be fun...we can make our own little Enemy at the Gates.

I think a neat idea would be to start off only with selecting your caracter looks and then you go to the level you only get a knife or a pistol. Then you should walk by an Armory and Take the weapon of your choice with max 6 clips of ammo for it. In the mean time the other force will try taking over the base or area and same as your team. For levels such as Normandy the Allies should get to choose what weapon they want before the get on the LCP. It would make the game very different for Team MULTIPLAYER!!

Or you could have it so the more objectives (places captured, sites bombed, etc.) you complete the higher your rank, giving you access to better weapons to choose from before going into battle.

What I'm looking for is teamplay. How many of you guys REALLY want to play as a team. I can never find anyone to play as a team. They always go off Rambo style and get shot up...

That way people would see a benefit to working together because they all get points. [This message has been edited by Hans (edited June 21, 2001).] |
Exactly

I like the idea Hans.. http://www.pcgamers.net/ubb/smile.gif

Sounds good. Start with only the basics though. Go into battle and from there pick up weapons from fallen comrads and enemies.
|
how bout if you disobay orders from your commander/leader he can shoot you, just an idea
|
The reward system will turn all that around.
I say, Hans' idea + removal of all viewing of scores prior to a map change and we have a winning situation. CS is plagued with lone soldiers because it's all about "score" nowadays.. |
heres a stupid idea, but maybe make it class based like you have the
-leader with a thompson -defense with m1 carbine but can use set up machine guns -infatry support bar -infatry m1 garand -cavalry, drives a tank -anti tank and assault- bazooka for one flamethrower for the other, these are just allied classes and its a dumb idea but thats my 2 cents |
