It's tough to recommend a system spec without knowing your budget Raymond.
|
In the next time, i will buy a new computer with some extras. And this is the reason, why I post this topic.
What do you think is the best system configuration for Medal of Honor Allied Assault??? (Graphiccards,3D Accelerator,Mhz)???? |
Whatever your budget, you can never go wrong with this system :
Thunderbird or Coppermine Appropriate Motherboard with FSB266 http://www.pcgamers.net/ubb/smile.gif 512 megs of RAM PC-133 (hell, go for more if you can) Cambridge sound system (surround sound) DTI Virtual Window holographic monitor Geforce 3 (OR GF2 Ultra DDR 64megs) 70 Gig HDD *droolz* http://www.evil3d.net/reviews/dti_vw/index.shtml <--- Go ahead boys.. go drool over this baby ! |
I would get an Athlon or AMD (1333 Hz)if I were u. As much memory as u can afford (atleast 256MB)and a Geforce 2 with 64 MB.
|
Get an
AMD Athlon 1330MHz 266 FSB AMD MSI K7T266Pro DDR Motherboard 256Mb PC2100 DDR RAM Winfast Geforce II 64MB DDR GTS Pro Quantum Fireball 30GB 7200rpm ATA100 HDD |

Wouldnt PC2100 DDR RAM be a better choice ??
|
And when you get RAM make sure it's got CAS Latency 2, not any higher, it's much faster.
And also a GF2 Ultra is almost as expensive as an GF3. So you'd be better of going for the GF3. And actually with the CPU wait a while and get an AMD Athlon Palamino (sweeeeeeeeeeeet !!!!!) |
This is my new computer specs ! http://www.pcgamers.net/ubb/wink.gif
AMD Athlon 1.2 Ghz 256 megs of DDRRAM Geforce 2 MX 64 megs 40 Gig HD OS=WinME (I will get WinXP when it comes out) Do you guys know the possible computer requirements and maybe sone recommendations? Thank you. ------------------ http://www.3rdInfantry.homestead.com/files/bladesig.jpg |

|
What do you think about a
Pentium 4 1.3 Ghz 128 MB Ram 30GB HDD 48x CD-ROM 8x DVD CD Writer ca. 1000$ |

Rambus ram is supported (preferred), but not REQUIRED by the new P4 systems : the old ones only accepted Rambus
It'll work much better I agree, but isn't the only type of ram you can have in that particular system.. even then, it's not as pricy as it was http://www.pcgamers.net/ubb/biggrin.gif [This message has been edited by SoLiDUS (edited June 28, 2001).] |
