Has anyone heard when the chat room will be started.
|
i dont think they would do this , even if we pay them

It's bad enough they have to read our ramblings, I don't think they would want to waste there time responding to them all. Besides, the less time they spend here the more time they have to work on our game.

I think we oughta come up with a time where a bunch of the developers can be here so we can all just talk about the game and what kind of things the developers are working on now. Someone come up with a time for next week. I hope my ideas not too stupid.

hehe, true true. But maybe when the chatroom is up, there can be a chat event, where some developers come and answer questions (already answered or ones that cannot be answered), which again would be a total waste of time, lol. Eh. Just thinking outloud, http://www.pcgamers.net/ubb/biggrin.gif

A chat session would be awesome, like what Anachronox did during their development. Alas we are in the final crunch part of the game now (finishing it) and don't really have the time. Plus I don't think we could just do this without approval from EA. But a cool idea though :).
BTW, speaking of Anox, that game rocks and anybody should go do themselves a favor and pick it up :). I've known Squirrel since middle-school, and was there when he got his first call from John Romero about getting a job at the newly forming Ion Storm. We were sitting in his parents basement, fooling around doing some quake level stuff :). But I've followed Anox since he started, getting a sneak peak everytime I visited him in Dallas. They've got some great people on their team, and I knew they had a great game in development. It's funny actually being able to play it now after watching it development over all this time, but I think it's been worth the wait :). So anyways, enough of my rambling, go pick up the game and have a blast, especially you Final Fantasy style RPG'ers out there :). ------------------ ----------------------- Latuh fuh U, Benson benson@2015.com "We don't introduce or cause bugs in the game, we merely find and bring to light the inadequacies within the code." -regarding level designers |

[This message has been edited by Hans (edited July 01, 2001).]

Just because 2015 is almost done doesn't mean the game is almost done. For instance, Michael Giacchino has to start looking at the levels and creating music for them. Hey if any of you guys at 2015 see him tell him or someone in charge that we wanna hear a music clip from the game. I heard a sound clip from Omaha Beach and it sounds like its from a high budget movie check it out on this website homepage. Thanks for the reply Elmagoo. |
Finally a higher rank.
