In the French and German towns will there be civilians doing stuff like crying and holding their babies as well as running for cover?

Man I sure hope there are a lot of civilians to interact with. It would be nice to be able to get things from them like a med kit or food or whatever we can use to increase our health. Or maybe we would meet a doctor or nurse that could dramatically help our health.
