I kind of think the Beach landing is better without music. I think it's more realistic and frightening. But I do want to hear some of Michael Giacchino's fantastic music for this game.

Common sense : there won't be music in this level lol.. it's a friggin' cacophony for <sugar>s sake.
Music will surely be added in less chaotic levels. |
The one thing that the movie is lacking is music. Has Michael Giacchino been at your studios to see what kind of levels he needs to make music for? I really want a music clip.

Yes true, I dont think you need any music when theres so much happening and it's already to noisy to actually stop and try and listen for the music. Music would better in situations when your moving quietly through a bombed out town trying not to get spotted by a German patrol or when your in a close quaters battle with the enemy. I hope the music is dynamic in that when the action starts the music gets really exciting and dramatic and when its a slow period you have light, easy music, not too boring or slow, just the perfect pace to keep you on your toes.

Yeah, I hope they have music while your heading into the beach, but it stops just as you reach the shore...Perhaps a soft trumpet in the background...

I think music would be most effective after the actual landing has been completed and you made it up past the bunkers, the music should be really triumphant and exciting, make you feel like you accomplished the impossible. And when moving up toward the beach there should be complete silence except for the waves crashing against the hull and the low hum of the Higgins boat (and ofcourse the CO screaming out orders before you hit the beach), sorta keeps the atmosphere more tense and harsh, because you know what is about to happen...complete and utter chaos.
