Just too add that Halo 2 has been officially announced by Microsoft, heres the short of it:

Well with any luck all insides of the maps won;t be virtually identical this time round. Even playing in co-op mode myself and a friend of mine were constantly saying "have we been in here before"?? Roughly 99% of the rooms in halo 1 have the exact same textures and to say it gets confusing is an understatement. :-?

Im still waiting for Halo to come out on PC. News of Halo2 hopefully means it will come all that much sooner, if at all.

PC is where it belongs

Halo for the pc is coming next summer. Valve is doing the conversion.

Will most likely be a straight port with no enhancements :/

I can't wait. Halo was the best game ever. Halo 2 will be awesome.

ok i posted the same thing twice and in different words because i didn't think it worked. it said it failed. hmmm..well just pick one and go with it...they both say the same thing...in general.

Just another quick tidbit, apparently the Halo 2 preview movie that those screenies were taken from will be released sometime today/tomorrow, so keep your eyes peeled.
