Tech Prob - USB dies ?
 

Anyone else have their USB gear die on them regularly?

I got a USB modem (DLINK DSL-200) and mouse (MS Intellimouse) and they have started to die at the same time regularly now.

Cant think of anything major that Ive changed before this started so Im thinking either a mobo problem. My modem runs fine if I switch the mouse over to PS2 but its shithouse like this and gets bumpy movement.

The only advice I got when choosing them modem was the only USB drawback was if I was running short of slots for it. Does anyone know if theres any other problems like these?

might be a bios problem can you update your bios on your Mobo??

yeah thats probably a good idea.... ill have a look if theres something new.
