Need some help with MOHAA
 

Ok I've played the game ad nauseum on single player and been playin multiplayer for about a good month now.

Can someone elighten me how it takes me half a clip to kill someone yet I can get dropped by an 3 round burst from an SMG from across a room? I'm not a virgun FPS player, hell I can hold my own pretty well in UT. I know there is a realism mod which I downloaded but it doesn't seem to help. It also seems like some guys can snipe with the MP40. Example, In Algiers, I was in the building where the wooden plan makes a bridge and a guy allllll the way down that alley leading up to the building takes me out with his SMG.

Am I just up against hacks galore or am I missing something here? I've never played so bad in a multi FPS before and it just seems like I am doing something wrong.

For your realism mod, it has to be a server side mod or you have to run your own server for it to be effective.

The only advice I can give you is to become good with all the weapons and to take advantage of the map structure. Be on your guard CONSTANTLY because a man could run around the corner with a large gun that fires bullets moving at 500 feet per second right into your head. Aim for the torso and head.
