are you using a server.cfg file?

Wolf-Man 08-18-2002 10:21 AM

How are you writing it?

Say Command

You must have rcon enabled (rcon is a password) in your server.cfg file

Then the syntax is

rcon "Password Here" say Sup everyone

so, if your rcon password was tables, and you wanted
to say please no glitching

rcon tables say please no glitching

There ya' go

You dont have rcon set - without the rcon password enabled in your
server.cfg file - you cant issue console commands and auto-kick wont work

Add this line to your server.cfg file

set rconpassword "password-you-want-here"

Enter the same password in auto-kick password box

This will enable rcon.........

**********Here is the say command***********

The syntax is:

rcon "Password Here" say Sup everyone (Broadcasts "Sup Everyone")

So, if your rcon password was tables, and you wanted
to say please no glitching you would type in this whole string

rcon tables say please no glitching

There ya' go
