Skins i no its in the wrong area but.......
i have made up a soldier skin and it works fine you put it in the main folder load up mohaa go to allied skins and wala I can see the skin so im all happy about this. I go and send the skin to a buddie of mine so we can play a game together and check out the skin to see if it needs any improvments anywhere. We start the game each choosing my skin and wham no luck all it shows is the default airbourne skin wtf does anyone have any ideas why this is? thanks for your time peoples

hey
did you try force models "put a check in force models" then you should see it
|
yea forced mods works when i killed myself it was my skin laying on the ground but how do you get it so u can see the skin on u? My skin is wearing gloves but the hands that wear the gun are plain jane.

Have you named ur tik files correctly? You should call them allied_woteva.tik and allied_woteva_fps.tik. Sounds to me that u aint bothered puttin allied_ at the front.
|
Does your m8 have the skins on his computer as well? Does the server have the skins? Unless they do, your friend will see the default skin.

OK i renamed my tik files and shader files thanks i did forget that. But when im hosting the game I still see the default allied skin not the one i created. And yes i sent the skin to my buddie for i was wanting to take some screen shots of it. Does anyone else have any idea why I am unable to see the skin (ex. Im suppose to be wearing gloves and a tan jacket not bare handed and army green)? Thanks again for the advise

Yea in the fps.tik file change the code there to what u have called ur tga files and then u will be able 2 c ur gloves etc in the game.
