Error with Mbuilder
I'm using Mbuilder. It used to work but now I get a problem with the following settings:
Game directory = [...]MOHAA Map directory : WINDOWS/DESKTOP My file is beta1.map, there's also a beta1.pak, both on the desktop. If I try to compile I get this error: error opening [....]/desktop/obj/beta1.bsp, no such file or directory and file not found in desktop/obj/beta1.bsp I don't quite understand...any suggestions? |
I don't know if this is the same thing, but I was also having some problems with mbuilder compiling a map. It did not like one of the skins I was using but I'm still not sure which one. I just cut out all the pk3's mods that I used and then compiled the map and it worked fine.

Just try making a map folder in your main. In that there should be a dm or obj folder. Put your map in whichever it is. Make sure the mbuilder is pointing to the right folder! For your game folder: mine is:c:\mohaa\ map folder: c:\mohaa\main\maps and your mbuilder file: c:\mohaatools
That is very important. I hope, i'm sure, you know. Try that stuff also. |
