Can't get scope mod to work

I have downloaded and saved a scope mod to my main directory. It still doesn't work. Do i need to put it anywhere special in my main directory?

You used the .pk3 file not the .zip file right?

it probably already as it but make sure the pk3 as User in the name...eg User-nobby`s scope.pk3 ... probs already done but u never know..
