does anybody here know of any good point editing or 3d model editing tool?

i wanna make my oun character models

try gmax from http://www.discreet.com grab the tempest plugin which will make it more like radiant. also can try http://www.milkshape3d.com

Before you start putting a lot of effort in it making own models, think how you can get it into MOH. Then feel shocked, abused, angry, pissed off and annoyed by EA because we don't have the tools yet to import our own character models.
So skinning is more or less limited to the current 3D models .

totally agree with that,
everyones waiting for the tools.
but you will need max 3 or later.
IF the tools are released.
as for free programs...Milkshape over Gmax anyday
as milkshape can import and export
3D files from most popular games as RTCW,Quake etc
gmax doesnt.

Never give up hope just cos the SDK is delayed till after the Exp pack ,never know some clever 3d person might come up with a specially written plugin for 3d max 4.

And if he did im sure all the Mod teams would love and worship me cough cough him.
