Dude, people can download / create all the "mods" they want
and it wont help their individual game play. you have
incorect information on your site

I can mod my server so that one weapon works better than the other
or many other "Weird" mods. But some mod on your computer
will not affect your gameplay on a server

Head Shot Bot
For most of us its quite difficult to shoot people in the head all of the time, sure its not impossible, but when the message comes up "Unamed Soldier was shot in the head by Unamed Soldier" over and over again, its likely that the person is using some kind of head shot bot. It's a program that automatically shoots people in the head, all they have to do is aim in the general direction of their target and BANG, near enough instantaneous death.

Increased Power and Range of Weapons
The shotgun, what a weapon, powerful enough to kill multiple apponents with one all mighty blast. Wheres the catch? of course, it only works at very close range. For some people out there though this is not the case, they have managed to make the trusty old shotgun devasting at long range as well. As you play the game you get a feel for the weapons and the distances that they work the best at, using this knowledge you can always tell when something aint right.

Invisibility
This one is also very annoying, your on a role, bodies are falling beneath feet at every turn and then spookily bang, your shot, you look around and nobody is there, then your hit again and again! This could be due to a number of things, someone is just out of sight or they have a great hiding place, but if this keeps happening at different locations throughout the map then you can be sure some little git is cheating. This can sometimes be accidental though, when people are playing about with new skins, the adverse effect can be invisibility, so don't go ranting and raving straight away.

Invulnerability
This is the most obvious one, maybe not at first but after a few minutes everyone will be screaming out at the cheater. You shoot them, they dont die, theyre cheating, or are they? I've been in situations before where I've been in a gun fight with multiple apponents and killed them all, limping away with just 4% health, that doesn't make me a cheater although it may seem that way to the people youve just killed[/quote:2260d]

I know what your saying about the mods that affect weapons, but the other "cheats" can be achieved without others having the same ability on a server, therfore giving one individual an advantage over everyone else, although these issues have now been addressed with the game patches. So the information is not incorrect, it is very relevant to anybody still running version 1.0 of the game.

I was running a mod on my server which gave me a scope and more ammo on the oirdinary rifle, no one else knew about this and it took them ages to figure out that there was a mod running on the server, at which point they all switched to the rifle, but by then the damage was done, my score was already waaaaaaaay ahead of everyone else. This you could say gave me an edge, an advantage and it could be called cheating, although personnally I dont mind mods, I just think that people should know which ones are running berfore they enter a server.

You kidding? Loadsa people still play version 1.0, granted I should update the page to say that the cheats only apply to version 1.0 and I will do that. But there is still a thriving version 1.0 community, I personally know loadsa people that still run it and as long as people still play then the info is still in date, cant discriminate against folks that are using version 1.0 by with holding information that I have, just because people think they should upgrade.

If there wasnt anyone playing version 1.0 then the page wouldnt be there, but there are so it is.

never said it was, but for some reason (that doesnt really matter) people are content with running version 1.0, doesnt do me any harm, I dont care who runs what version of what and as long as theyre still playing it I'll help them with whatever I can.

People ONLY run V1.0 so they can use the Aimbots and Wallhacks. Otherwise, If you still run 1.0 for any other reasons, you have to be smacked silly.

I second Bazooka's feelings on the matter.
