Why can't they make more realistic war/covert ops type games (ie. MOHAA, Hidden & Dangerous, Delta Force, Rainbow 6 etc.)

Im gonna buy Doom3. Theres someother game screens floating around the forum of a Halo wanna be game that i might look into.

Not every game you play should be serious. I must be a team player lead my squad kill the op for with modern day weapons. Sometime syou need a change of pace and a good zombie shooter with massive hoards of monsters are just that. Although Doom3 is said not to be that.

Besides there are plenty of team based planning, stratigic, serious games out or on the boards to hold anyone over. Relax a bit, pick up a BFG 9000 and blast some Mofo's.

I quite like the zombies and stuff. I think the horror kinds of games draw you in more than the soldier types.

You want a good game? This game is f***ing realistic. Not in the sense of combat, but it's an MMORPG that has literally everything, kind of like Omikron, but better. There's a beta, that you can get, although, it;s f***ing huge, it's 1.2 GB for those who want to check it out, http://www.neocron.com is the place. Ergh, it took me 11 hours to download it....

i like anygames that have nothing to do with the magic, zombies, monsters that come out of someguys ass, but ill still play games that have aliens and a good storyline. they are believable and thus giving it a relaistic feel. but still games like doom 3 ill play cause of the super nice graphix
