Canadian mapmakers
Hi, I was wondering if there are any mappers who would be interested in collaborating on a map. I'd like to do a map of St. Lambert-sur-Dives, as a start. Currently I am working on getting some actual photos and a period map of the village in Normandy to base the map on.
For those unfamiliar with what happened there, a brief outline can be had at: http://www.vac-acc.gc.ca/general/sub.cf ... ons/currie Would also be interested in collaborating/assisting on other projects of Canadian interest. E-mail me at nedfumpkin@yahoo.com |
DaDs Army are nearly finsihed making Dieppe.
Should have a lot of Canadians interested in that. kdja |
Thanks for the info...I thought I'd seen something indicating that a Dieppe map was in the works, by any chance do you know of a website or contact information for them?

a repostiory..
I've set up a repostitory for the research files that will be used to create this map. I'll be getting more photos and other info, but for now a good idea can be found there. Included is an actual ww2 map that was used for this region showing location of buildings and scale. Also are some other maps showing troop movements in the area
Any and all are welcome to contribute or assist - no experience necessary. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/st-lamber-sur-dives/ ...ignore the typo in the url...I was half asleed when I set it up oOo: |
