what if i make a program that will edit the registry so that it allows the user to upgrade their version of MOHAA to 1.11? Would this be illegal? Has someone already made this? Any comments would be appreciated.

yes but you see some people have european versions of the game and there are no patchs for them and the US patch doesnt work for them. By editing the registry my program would allow a user with a different version of the game force the US patch on the game therefore updating the game to v1.11.

maybe, maybe not. the correct registry numbers and how to change them was posted here way back in the 1.1 release and they were never locked.

yes the US/UK is the euro patch andthe us patch
