Admin Alliance question
I am a server admin for a great server named V for Victory Custom maps. This server is part of the admin alliance. I do have some questions regarding admin alliances ideas about foul play.
1). Camping spawn areas - Fair or foul? 2). Hanging in other teams actual spawn area forcing them to spawn elsewhere - Fair or foul? Those two questions I have seen happen from lotsa people....even on Admin Alliance home servers :) What is the guidelines for universally banning someone? How are you goin to work around proxys to avoid them coming back? Admin Alliance admins are fair game in the rules? Alot more questions I have, but these are the ones I am sure are gonna be prevelant once the alliance is running. |
Proxies will not be a problem, as you can not play the game through one. Proxies only work when viewing web sites or FTP sites.

Everyone ends up facing someone who just spawned
Hey - Its you or them Its the guys who spend the game waiting for players to spawn and then killing them - these guys get kicked If they come back, you warn them. If they continue the same idiotic behavior you kick and ban them We are working on some features now that will completely eliminate admins from just banning players for dumb reasons, or players they dont like Believe me, we are working out all the sordid details so that this program takes into account all these factors The last thing we want to do is release a program to ban idiots and end up causing more problems than we cure This system will work and it will work great Details will follow... stay tuned =[DOA]=BallBuster |

1 & 2 = unfair. Why in the world would this be fair? On D-Day, I could of swore I never saw a german hanging out behind a higgins boat popping the allies in the head. But hey, that's just me.
