superdude 08-06-2001 08:11 AM

so far, yes, to my knowledge.

BallisticWookie 08-06-2001 09:23 AM

Nothing has been said yet, about multiplayer as far as classes or what sort of maps to expect. Only that there will be Capture the Flag, Deathmatch...I'd be thinking Team based aswell, not "Every man for themselves"

I think if they were going to do a capture the flag idea, they should do it like DoD does. Have flags scattered throughout the map and once one team has all of them captured, then that team wins. Either that or have a scenario in which nobody wins, its just a battle in an area, and each person has say 5 respawns, after they reach that number of respawns they can't join anymore, whoevers team is still alive, wins the match.
Just a thought.....

wait, capture the flag? in a WW2 game?? i dont know about that yet. and it better not be every man for himself. that would get really crappy in a game like this. there shoudl be co-op.

HaVoc 08-07-2001 08:51 AM

They should have the capture the flag concept in the game, but it should be modified a bit….

At the start of every game the computer will randomly select five different areas where a series of top-secret documents will be stored for each team. To win your team must steal the all of the enemy’s documents (which can only be carried by one person at a time) and return them to your base. If you kill an enemy with your team’s documents, the documents will NOT be returnable to your base!

…As for the death-matches, HELL NO! All you do is run around and kill each other, without any objectives, it's pointless!

Yes cause capture the flag you can use better teamwork, it would have a better lasting value.....
